BOOKING SESSIONS
How much are sessions?
Sessions are $575 for the Jr. Bill Package, and $1100 for the Big Bill Package. The price of each package can be split among friends if desired.
What's the difference between the 2 Packages?
With the Jr. Bill Package, images are sized and licensed for social media. Anyone who buys this package must order all their prints from Erika Rene Photography. It also has a 2 week turnaround. With the Big Bill Package, people can print their own images, order discounted prints through their gallery, and get a 1-week turnaround on their images.
How do people book?
The link to book a session is https://calendly.com/erikarenephotography/session-with-erika-slu – from there, people can view our calendar of availability, select their preferred date, and submit their deposit.
How do payments work?
A $50 deposit is due at the time of booking to reserve the spot and select a package (Jr. Bill or Big Bill). From there, we will send them an email for their balance owed.
REFERRALS
How do I get referral credit?
To receive a referral credit, the student booking must select your name from our Campus Rep list when filling out the booking form. This is a required question, so if you refer someone, they can't accidentally not credit you!
How much are referral credits?
For standard portrait bookings, you will receive a $50 credit. For weddings, you will receive a $350 credit. For anything else, Starbucks on me!
When do I receive referral credits?
All credits will be paid out during graduation week to reps who have shot exclusively with Square 8 for the duration of their senior year.
PHOTO REVEALS
What is a Reveal?
A Reveal is the moment where we all gather together to let your friend group see their pics for the first time! Reveals are a TON of fun... and family are totally invited!
Where does a Reveal take place?
All Reveals take place via Zoom. We started doing this during COVID and found students and their families LOVE IT this way, because parents are able to see the photos and more easily help make purchasing decisions.
How long do Reveals last?
We keep each Reveal under 20 minutes - just long enough to see a highlight of the images from the session, and make an initial selection on print orders!
When is the Gallery delivered?
After the Reveal, their full gallery is emailed to them within 48 hours.
YOUR SENIOR SESSION
When can I book my Senior Session? December graduates can book their senior session starting August 18. May graduates can book their senior session starting November 23. Click Here to book!
Can I bring friends on my Senior Session?
Yes! Most of our reps choose to book a session with friends! Here's how it works: let's say you have 3 friends you want to be in your shoot with you (4 total, including you). You book a $1100 session as a group. YOUR portion ($275) is completely free, and your friends pay their portion like normal!
Are there any limitations on Senior Sessions?
Only if you're booking a SOLO Senior Session! In that case we ask that December graduates pick a sunset session date before October 15, and that May graduates pick a sunset session date before Spring Break. You can also choose a sunrise session any date you like!
EXCLUSIVITY
How does exclusivity work?
Because Campus Reps receive thousands of dollars in free photos from Erika Rene Photography, the expectation is that all Reps shoot exclusively with us, so that other photographers (whether students or professional) do not receive for free (or for pay) what we are paying a high price for: the ability to promote you and be promoted by you with our work.
Are there any exceptions?
Yes! The following exceptions are allowed:
• Team and School Sponsored Shoots
• Sorority / Event Photos
• Cell Phone Pics with your Friends
My friends already booked with another photographer, and I don't want to miss out... what do I do?
We understand college is all about relationships! While the goal as a Campus Rep is to talk to your friends early and often about shooting with Erika Rene Photography, sometimes that doesn't work out. If you run in to this scenario, here's what to do:
(1) Contact Erika ASAP to explain the situation
(2) Let the other photographer know you are unable to appear on their social media page, and cannot tag them in any photos you post.
(3) Book a Big Bill with at least 3 friends! Your portion is covered, but your friends pay their part!
Ok, but... it happened with a COUPLE of friend groups! What if I need to shoot with another photographer more than once?
No problem! Just repeat the steps above! For each paid session you book with friends (with your part covered), you can book 1 with another group of friends that already had plans with another photographer!
